Fanzines

Did anyone actually used to buy/contribute to any of the more well known Speccy fanzines of yesteryear?

I was always intrigued by the ones that used to win the YS compo every month (like The Bug, Reflex and Spectacular), but never got round to sending any money off.

I used to write a regular piece in Retro Classix. Ah, how I enjoyed those days.

Yep, still got 'em. Very well produced they were for the time. The Retro Classix homepage states that it's due for a return, but I think that message has been up for a good few years!

I think I've got about 13-15 issues, and a few pages from issue 2.

Had many issues of The Bug, but I (stupidly) chucked them away in the great 1995 clear out (along with priceless posters, manuals, documents, Sinclair and Amstrad promotional material and a whole lotta music stuff).

I have a few issues of Retro ClassiX (14, 17, 21 to hand at the moment, others somewhere else) contributed some photos to the Britmeet2 article (issue 21) and some other snippets of information.

I also have a few issues of Crashed (23,24,25,26,27,30) fanzine. An excellent mag with dodgy backdoor fun with the girls of B*Witched!

Just remembered that I gave a whole bunch of Retro Classix mags back to Graham as he had run out of certain issues for back issues. So, the issues listed above are the only ones I have.
