A couple of hard-boiled eggs, some rice, and an onion, with white sauce.
Together with a glass of milk, and some mint imperials.
Tastes a lot less bland than it looks.
I just ordered - in a fit of extravagance - a thin crust seafood pizza with crabmeat, shrimp, oysters topped with alfredo sauce and extra anchovies (they never give you enough) I love anchovies and will eat them straight out of the tin. BTW if you put them in a blender with some butter and black pepper you get a pretty close copy of Patum Pepparium which is fabulous on Melba toast. Oh and a box of hot wings plus 2 liter Coke all for $40 delivered 'cos I live ten miles from the only pizza place in this county and have no wheels of my own.
That lot will last me two days easy maybe three and thats with the dog eating my crusts and most of the cheese.
I used to live in Edinburgh and there was a bijou little pizza parlour up the sloping road that runs at the foot of the castle? They would make a pizza for you with whatever cheese you liked and almost any combination of toppings but you had to order in advance, I mean up to a day or two if it was a really exotic mix!. Best pizzas I have ever tasted and I once asked for limburger cheese and prosciutto with fresh pineapple and red peppers, no tomato sauce. It was fantastic, but try getting that sort of service here in the USA!

I'm a fan of the ingredients in that Asian style saucer, but it looks a bit sad, maybe like the noodles absorbed too much liquid? It's not like it looks soggy, but it seems a little too wet looking, for want of a better description perhaps?

Well - I stir fry and then half fill the wok with water and let it boil back off. Then it's juicy (I'm not a fan of crunchy dry stir frys).
I through an egg in at the last minute for some reason. That made it look duller....What I meant to do was fry it and put it on top.....but.....a few beers in and the plans went out the window.
The steam coming off it didn't help the picture either.....but trust me - I eat out a lot and I'd rather have this than what most restaurants serve up. Mmmm mmmmm.
And you can eat it without your dentures :)

They're like beer for me - I get bored easily so I just use them all.
You know what - someone else said the same thing to me the other day - maybe I got a lucky bottle....it's not very vinegary at all??
*EDIT* - OK - so I just had a little slurp of it off a spoon - it's a bit vinegary alright. Didn't notice when it was on the Chickens....

Holy Macaroni! That's enough to feed the multitudes!..actually it's quite reasonable..but i just wanted to make a bible quote.
I've been unable to look at this thread here because of the white stuff at the top of the page..it's made me want to puke ..but I feel steady enough now. So far..the insect dish is the only one I would actually consider eating.. Actually no!
I can't abide macaroni cheese like that. There's something weird about the look and texture of it, it's too tubey and organic. When it clumps together it reminds me of brains, but individually it's like the gross bits of tube you get in cheap mince. Makes me heave.
Re the larvae? If they're witchety grubs then they taste pretty good actually but they don't look big enough to be them. Ate the Australian abo delicacy at a Boys Exhibition (can't remember the proper title) when they used to hold them annually in London. Late 50's my dad always took me, you got to see cool stuff and get to clamber over howitzers and locos and stuff.
Had a DiGiorno's thin crust pizza last night, not bad at all. Added anchovies of course, the dog LOVES anchovy pizza.

I would have thought between the sickening whiteness, Pizza, Sloppy Chinese, Chicken, Pasta, Sausage & Chips and insects there would be something to whet the appetite?
Me - I'll eat almost anything that's not gonna kill me once it's not loaded with Coriander leaf or Mushrooms.
