I would guess there might be a film about it at some point. There will likely be some people with interesting experiences and stories to tell in regard to it, but it will likely be a rather dull and uneventful few weeks or months for most of us.
But your not thinking Hollywood, they'll over dramatise it and add fantasy to the element to make it more interesting. The people will suffer through zombie like fevers and coughs so bad they rack their lungs etc etc... Sigh!

Of course! And Will Smith will find the cure!
and when he does Robert Smith will save the day...

I think most of Hollywood "fact-based" movies do not involve the addition of a fantasy element, but are fantasy to begin with a little bit of realism added! But we've already had loads of those sorts of films. There was science-fiction - like the Andromeda Strain (which was a more interesting idea). Then there has already been a spate of epidemic films - such as Contagion, Containment etc. I wouldn't want to give them any more ideas - because the numpties might make it.
What are the odds of someone releasing a Self Isolation Mindful Colouring Book?
Actually should self publish my own, its the sort of crap people buy. :)
Sometimes comes over me as a motivation to paint, but then I think of myself as a famous artist being asked about my artistic motivations and having to say honestly "well I thought I would be able to produce something that was as good as the crap most people buy."
Can someone explain to me the value of finding the monkey once a virus has begun to spread? Not saying there is no good reason just wondering what the actual reasoning is? Its not going to stop the spread, but I suppose they could use it to make a vaccine (animal vaccine?) - or its just useful for research, is that what they mean?
I can't remember if I have seen this film, is it a monkey escaped from the lab. story?

It an non quarantined monkey who is carrying a disease, don't think there was any lab involved. Wasn't there some bullshit in the story about finding patient zero as the only way to find a cure for the ever changing virus. Or something hollywoodish. It made some good entertainment if you didn't think too hard when watching it.
After it dies down there'll be a film starring a tough guy like Jason Statham that will play a doctor or scientist and is frustrated at the lack of progress on a vaccine will develop one himself, there will be a female scientist (Jennifer Lopez) who is his assistant then they fall in love, a cure is found in days and the world is saved. The end.

Ok I thought it was maybe like 28 days later, you know security breach or something.
I have always thought original The Andromeda Strain was the most realistic film of its kind.

Ast.A. Moore's post from Spectrum Computing - I think its brilliant. Now there's a game that would go down like hotcakes if anyone can modify Wolfenstein fast enough!
Theres definitely a crap game potential here. I can think of lots of possibles like a modified Marble Madness where the ball is the virus and the traps are bog rolls, disinfectant, washbasins etc.

Come on all you ace programmers, get with it!
Bogs rolls and hand-stanitiser instead of first aid kits - very clever.
I read Harrison ford was suffering from a bad case of the runs - the day when he was filming the scene with the swordsman in Raiders, and he just shoots him as if he's fed up with sword swinging henchmen.

In Between Days : good title for a movie. After all we have had Strange Days, and the The Day of the Jackal, and the Day the Earth Stood Still.
The temple of Hand Sanitizer.
The kingdom of the Crystal meth Head hoarding all the toilet paper and hand sanitizer to sell on Ebay.
The last Pinappleaid (because that's all the shop had left)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the last bottle of Pinappleade.
Everyone rushes forwards, hands shoot out of walls to get it. ;-)
Look away for a moment and you'd think it was a trailer for the Fugitive(soundtrack).

Very low unless it's pieced together from footage the actors shoot themself on their phone in the spare bedroom.

Pull off some gold leaf, wipe it underneath - in King Midas's country toilet.
