Shame....Not a huge fan of SNFU but they're pretty up there with the Hardcore Punk bands most people would know from the time. Especially on the Canadian scene.
All these older punks dying, all don't seem too much older than me as well, makes me wonder just how much time I have left :O

Tbf with Chi Pig, the amount of drugs and drink he consumed over the years probably didnt help, but yeah most are only like 5/6 years older than me that are going now.
love the classic SNFU period, 85 - 90 ish albums, pop hardcore, very melodic
Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
That's what worried me a little, I did a lot of drugs, and really didn't take too much care of myself when I was younger, and I still look pretty good on the outside, but I'm curious how much of my brain, lungs and liver are actually functioning properly these days? :))
My last physical was good, but how much longer can I remain the "Boozefreek" before I wreck something permanently? ;)
I wonder as well as i seriously abused my body in my 20's then again about 18 months ago, i'm surprised i'm still alive with the amount of booze, bad food, drugs and lack of sleep i've had! :))

Looks like we're all in the same boat, shipmates! I'd been clean since my late 30's until my wife left me after 20 years of marriage which I thought was happy (so did my kids who stuck with me)
Then I went off the rails but got to meet Jim Carroll 'people who died' which is a coded reference to what I was on at the time. Got married again and reverted to being clean again, which I prefer tbh.

Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

RIP John Saxon. Was watching Enter The Dragon on Friday night - so many of them in that movie have gone now. I think other than Bolo Yeung and Robert Wall all of the main fighters have now left us :-(
Ah no....Strangely enough was thinking about watching Enter the Dragon again the other day, and what sparked that idea off was thinking about that old sci-fi movie John was in. Can't remember what it was called? But the Alien invaders were called The Krieg, and they fed the earth captives gruel with mind control drugs in it, or something like that?

I saw that film when I was really young and can't remember most of it, but the name was Planet Earth. Wish I could see it again.
