    Currently listening to this guys couple of tracks, but he needs financial help, if you can afford it, please buy the songs with a lil bit more than they cost, thanks

    THIS IS A SHOUT OUT FOR HELP FOR ONE OF OUR OWN...........PLEASE READ AND HELP IF YOU CAN......
    one of our members is an old time session musician, does his own stuff too...but has worked with many many big artists....but remains as with many musicians on the poverty line....
    Over the past 6 months, all his work obviously dried up.... he, as many who live in New York live in shared or rented apartments.... with no work, his 6 months safety blanket of funds have been depleted....and he was turned out of his apartment. Someone was able to take his equipment (whats left, he sold alot to pay rent and bills) but he is now in an open shelter in NY for the winter.... through no fault of his own.... as a self employed musician here in the states, he isnt entitled to any federal help.... no unemployment....
    He wont take hand outs....so im being a little sneaky..... would people even if a $1....... give a little extra christmas present to help him out.... he has an album session he will be working on in February...so by March he should be able to get himself back on his feet..... so if we can donate enough, he might be able to get himself a private room at the YMCA...or similar so he is safe.....
    PLEASE HELP......... on band camp you can buy the single but add more as a gift......lets try get him at least 3 months rent and food.......

    Jim Carroll was an old friend of my wife and she introduced me to him. We used to hang out briefly one morning per week at a small coffee shop. I liked him and would have liked to have seen more of him.

    No Way! that is very cool Mike. They were a great band, and I especially love that track, even with it's dark undertones. Sadly quite apt. at the moment.
