Your grandma's plates, yet not quite......They have that 70's/80's maybe even 90's grandparents "China Cabinet" look about them. Like I remember eating off those plates when I was a kid :))
Who knows if they'd actually been washed properly, or licked clean and put back in the cupboard afterwards to save water, and electricity?
Nothing on my plate right now, but a few things cooling on the rack.
I just baked two breads - one rye bread and one white bread.
I usually bake a rye bread every two weeks - and it was about time. But one of my friends asked me on Saturday if she could have some rye bread one day, as the pictures I (sometimes) post on Instagram look delicious. She's a student so (probably) doesn't have too much money, so I decided to bake two breads instead of one ... and give her half of each.
As I always experiment, today is no exception. The ryebread has chipotle chili and coffee in it (it smells delicious) but the white bread is pretty ordinary ... except for the dough being cold fermented. I've never done that before, but it saved me some time doing half the work last night.
Sokurah, as a bread connoisseur myself, I have to say that I have drool in my mouth looking at your picture.
I've been starved for good bread here for too long. And the ingredients here give me unpredictable results, too often. So, my bread making days are behind me. And bread makers are junk, aside from maybe kneading the dough. But even that can be hit or miss. There is just something about hand-kneaded dough that gives better results. I thoroughly believe in the saying "made with love" when it comes to baking and cooking. A bit of patience and inventive attention to detail can give beautiful results.
Here is what I started this morning. Chunk of ground beef on the bottom. Bottom full of water. Onions. Potatoes. Rabbit sticks ( I always forget what they are called, sorry). A couple of bully youngs (you know ... those cubes of spices and sawdust or whatever). Pepper.
It's like my mama always used to say ... "If it aint broke, then continue to use the same plates."
And yes, I am definitely "guilty" as charged as to the second part. I usually re-use the same plates if I've only had dry stuff on them, like bread and such. I don't put them back up in the cupboard. I usually leave them off to one side of the sink because I know I will be using them again that same day ... or two, three days in a row. Haven't had to worry about ants for a while ... or mice ... or the mailman, for that matter. But I digress! Don't ask me about the mound of dirt in the back yard!
EDIT: Oh, yeah, BTW, Haven't washed my coffee cup since 2011.

Hmmm, good point. Kittens do the "kneading" motion to get more milk out of their momma's milk cartons. Later in life, they retain that muscle memory to get comfortable (similar to dogs going round and round to find just the right spot on the doggie bed). You may notice that adult cats usually only do the kneading when they are comfortable, relaxed, and often than not, while purring. Adult male cats that have not been fixed also do this kneading when they are in heat, while mounting a female. Helps them with getting the female to accept him. And when there is no female around, a pillow, article of clothing, some other bundle that the male can get his paws on, ends up being on the receiving end.
Anyways, so, that is one way we get "stuffed" breads and other similarly "stuffed" baked delectables

Where are you living since the ingredients you can get are unpredictable?
The United States of Absolutely Crap Ingredients.
It's all fake and manipulated to be as cheap as possible for the producer with the most gains as possible . Have to go to the farmers for fresh stuff or top end stores that are few and far between. The general stores for the regular consumer only carry junk. It's the negative sides of a capitalist society. The general idea is that everyone benefits but it's been ruined and taken advantage of by le big biz. And maybe it's just my negative point of view on a pissy Tuesday morning.

We are in the US too, and you can get goodish bread, but you have to pay silly money for it. Thanksfully my wife makes all her own food, and try too as well when I cook. So you can live healthy here, but you have to make it yourself. All the store brought packaged food contains a crazy amount of sugar and salt. Hence, people get addicted to the sugar and crave lots of salt and then get sick later in life generating millions for the health care business.
I believe in the US you don't just live here, your farmed. That said, you can have a very good life here, if you do it wisely.

Maybe it is my Advanced Age 2.0 but I just can not seem to be able to make good bread like back in the day. I blame the ingredients and absolutely not my crummy, oldtastebuddies.
I’m loafing off at work right now, finished everything that needled to be done. With just under 3 hours to spare, so I’ve decided to take an extra long break.
Oh well maybe not! Bollocks! It just started raining!

That'd be cannibalism!
It was tasty and not a la sadmode.
Swish it around to disperse some of the heat
Drown it all in three day old expired milk
( =)) )

I wonder if you could train cats to knead dough. They already do this kneading motion by themselves anyway.
Of course, after I typed the above I went to YouTube ... and lo and behold ...

My dad who was a chef, and an excellent baker makes fantastic bread when he comes to visit.
Very happy to see you again, Mr. eerrrm... Blopp!
B) And/Or ... your taste buds are just as crap as mine :))
No, he's just good. Stop buying the cheap stuff and get some proper strong flour.
This summer, I I challenge you to a loaf off !!
We will each bake some bread and post it on WOS.
