Not a celebrity but my mother-in-law passed away at 8.30 this morning. She's been in hospital for the last few months with the final stages of Parkinsons. 75 and had been diagnosed with the disease at 50 so she's lived with it for an extraordinarily long time. Nursing staff were gob-smacked at how long she had dealt with it.
RIP Arline.
Really sorry to hear of your loss, Vamp. My condolences to you and your family.
Any more of this and I am going to do to the actual Grim Reaper what a bizarre Ecuadorean flesh disease did to the lead singer of Grim Reaper. That should slow him down a bit.
All the time while I've been watching Test matches against India this year, I couldn't help thinking that Cheteshwar Pujara looked like an Indian Boycie. Irrespective of how many runs he scored, would you buy a used Hindustan Ambassador from this man? "One careful lady owner... six men who were absolute maniacs!" Although by Indian driving standards, that's not exactly far-fetched.
I also had cause to cite the episode of OFAH where Boycie is cheating at poker in one of my CSSCGC reviews. The "game" - more of a scene demo - was about card tricks...
I'm gutted. I had the pleasure of being part of one of his chats at a small Comicon. There was only about 12 people and it felt quite personal. We all laughed at his stories and asked questions. He was brilliant and charming.
Another old punk, a facebook friend Jay Snow posted today that his mate and long time bandmate lifeless Larry died Saturday at 63 he was in the Boston bands kilslug, upside down cross and Adolph satan

Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.
