I didn't mention where he lives,If you read it again I said he's FROM Sheffield as in, he's originally FROM Sheffield where the video was apparently shot. ;)
Or eats potato wedges, because apparently that's a Sheff thing? Thought that part of the vid was weird :))
Lots of take aways in Newcastle started selling wedges, back in the early 2000's some of them were good, but I always found the majority of them a bit dry, best to stick to plain ol' chips if you ask me! I always found, and still find potato wedges to be very much a super market deli item, like they thing they're the perfect accompaniment to fried or rotisserie chicken? Or the generic Chicken Tikka Masala, or Kormas you can get from said deli's :))
Well I've found myself watching Rate My Takeaway's channel now.... Seen he's done a few round my way.....But no places I recognise, although Newcastle's food scene is still trying to be "trendy"....They need to realise yes we will have student tw@ts who like vegan chickpea spice burgers, but there's still gonna to be an abundance of unhinged spanners who want to glass them :))
Curious if mel's ever been here? I've tried a couple of chippies down on tut dock area, down hill from bridge n' town, tried local cider from t'pub next tut bridge.....A tell thee that were nice cider aye lad!
That was quite funny - but it went on a bit. I thought he would have got more interest from people walking by and pinching sausages and chips - what would happen if someone came by walking their big dog? :o3
Amazing to see all the double decker buses full of people being pulled by just two horses!
I saw some motorised buses too, which I'm pretty sure weren't arount in 1900.... :-?

The actual video title says around 1900 and a quick check reveals London motorised bus traction started in 1902 there was also a service in Edinburgh which ran from 1898 to 1901.

Nice to see people are starting to do their bit for the environment by eating less.
