I have nothing against people sharing on bittorent and limewire but when people start making money off of things they have downloaded/stolen it annoys me.

I must have reported at least 20 sellers to ebay but they still appear and i dont even think ebay bothers anymore. I ve given up reporting sellers as nothing ever comes of it. One time someone was selling divxs of Doctor who episodes so i contacted BBC and they got on to ebay about it but its ot worth the effort of reporting to ebay as nothing ever comes of it

Ive allready reported this seller selling the same game and hes back again and by the look of the feedback hes sold this game many times. Incase anyone doesnt know this game was never comercially released but was a top seller on the black market and can only be got on a pirated cd-r. Im gonna report this seller and give ebay an ear bashing will report back a what they say.

Looks like MattGubbins ebay list to me !!!

Ebay are messed up though, the missus tried to sell her Louis Vuitton bag (100% original, i was there sweating buckets when i paid for it as it cost a ton). Because we put 99p start price (to attract more bidders) some idiot closed us down thinking it was a fake despite having the bag/receipt etc.

I look on ebay, search for something in particular and theres 1000's of fake dvds, american series on dvd, tons of obvious fake louis (buy it now 15 quid !) etc etc. Messed up

The worst thing of all on ebay is that you cant talk to a human. You just get pre-set answers or in the end have to normally write off to their office in Ireland. Stupid

Stop being a prefect ;) Seriously i do get your point but no one is forcing people to buy those things.

I recently bought the first series of Lost and also Series 5-9 of South Park. I know theyre out there on the internet somewhere but a lot of times i dont have the patience/time to do it myself.

For Lost it was ony 6 quid which was a bargain, South Park was more but sometimes i would rather just pay that money instead of spending many nights trying to download it, this way i get it quickly and the missus doesnt moan that i'm on the computer every night !

I'm sure everyone who buys this conspiracy crap dvds know its off TV on the whole. When i get Lost for 5.99 i dont expect it to be in the original casing, plastic wrapped and with a receipt from HMV in the bag !

So... It's okay for you to steal shows as your in the bittorrent members only club, but if anyone tries to share with people who can't use bittorrent then it's a mortal sin and you do anything you can to grass them up?

Now thats what I call twisted.

Still, Thanks for the link. There are a few doc's there i will be bidding on! :D

Yeah saw those documentaries, some do look good, please however take each one with a pinch of salt !

Too many conspiracy theories around at the moment, so many it spoils the ones which do probably have a lot of truth to them !

They havent paid a penny for the material they are selling so its different to someone downloading to watch something for their selves.
This guy buys a massive spindle of dvd-r/cd-r which works out at about 20p a disc for dvd and 8p cd then sells it for ?5 without even having the right to copy it let alone sell it.

you can dress it up however you like to justify it in your own head, but your breaking the law as much as he is.

and I'm still happy to spend six quid on a disk if it's got something on it I really want to see that i can't download.

Pot and Kettle spring to mind.

i agree, if i can buy something i really want but not available legally, i don't mind paying that bit extra for a copy, i did the same on ebay with restless natives & eddie murphy raw/delirious, pretty penny way back was made.

When I see copied game/music discs at the car boot I try to avoid them unless its a REAL nugget.

Seems fair to me that stealing the discs off the car-booters table is the same thing as downloading, so feel free to 'elp yourself :)

At the end of the day yes we know what these people are doing is illegal, i'm sure most of us have illegal mp3's or Speccy games which have been denied. Saying you dont have Knight Lore on your PC ? !

Yes its much worse selling games/movies etc but what actual harm does it do to you ?

Theres MUCH worse going on in the world today than some bloke selling dodgy documentaries on ebay. The thing is NO ONE is forcing you to buy it, ebay slowly will get to him and shut him down but theres 300 quid fake bags being sold on ebay so i think thats a higher priority than some stupid conspiracy dvds someones selling for 15 quid.

Honestly, once a prefect always a prefect eh ?

Yes there are much worse things on Ebay like the seller I nearly bought a ?700 laptop from the other day. Turns out he has his own shipping and escrow company too!

Someone selling a dodgy laptop or some scam on ebay is the worst, some guy selling stuff hes taped off tv (which you know its taped off tv etc or downloaded from the net) is nothing.
