  • Wasn't Mondo Macabro those dodgy Euro horrors that were basically softcore 70's porn? :))
    The trouble with tribbles is.......
  • Some of the Mondo Macabro were like that but not all of them. Eurotica were the really dodgy ones. I remember one of them was a film with basically a dirty old man wearing a dress pretending to be an old woman running an all girl boarding school, and basically perving on the girls. The guy in the film really reminded me of Benny Hill tbh :))

He had a pet werewolf though who was also like a butler. Only scenes I really remember was the old perv lining all the girls up and making them do topless star jumps, for health reasons of course :))

At the end I think the werewolf got angry and picked the old perv up and threw them in the river, or maybe a pond? It was weird! :))

  • I saw one from Italy or Spain that featured lesbian vampires, it had a great funky 70's soundtrack.
Think we need to move this to the 'watching' thread! :))
Also remember one where a guy had sex with dead girls, it was mental! :))

Scum is a great movie, but you do have to have a strong constitution to watch it. I'd not be surprised if it's been banned again given how soft people are these days, or it's probably been released with a re-edited potting shed scene, and "trigger warnings" at the start.

Don't watch this if rough 80's Britain makes you f*cking cry you f*cking pussies! :))

What you crying for? "I slipped sir!" :))

Its the British version of Dead Poets Society!! :-p

I wonder if the woke media remade this movie how would it work? Would Master Blaster be a combination of a regular short woman riding on the shoulders of a regular large woman? Would Aunty Entity be played by a white man? Or would it be exactly the same movie, and just remade with newer prettier faces with the focus on completely removing Mel Gibson from the story?

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but you have these nutcases saying not enough diversity, not enough strong female characters, not enough anything....All on Twitter of course! Yet this movie is from 1985! You have a dwarf riding on the back of a giant who has down's syndrome, in a power struggle with a black woman for Mayorhood of the only "oasis" in a post apolcalyptic world. the only meat available that isn't human is pork, and it's illegal to kill them for food....I mean really this movie is coming close to 40 years old, and it's a woke fantasy come true basically......

Basically, since they race swap, and gender swap, and "pronoun" swap everything in movies these days this is one movie that I think realistically they couldn't touch, it checks all the boxes for woke bullshit, but almost 37 years ago :))

Sorry pink haired fat girl with Buddy Holly glasses your bullshit rhetoric is broken :p

That was their first album I think (the one with Muscle Bound and To Cut a Long Story Short on it I think?) wasn't bad, very different to their follow up stuff although everyone loves Gold of course. [especially Thorin]

Also @mel I was just griping about formally = wearing formal dress whereas I think you really meant formerly = in the past :P

The thought of Napalm Death wearing dinner jackets and tuxedos amused me though.

  • Motörhead, good choice
  • Hugely under rated band! Bass led with really nice orchestration
