Heh, every time I come across I come across one of these haircuts in a shop or wherever.. there's a kinda Mexican standoff. I'm not playing ball so to speak. I'm tall, soft, hair down my back with azure blue eyes, and well, foreign looking for here. I think they think I am letting the side down or something. One wee overweight one in a purple rain tshirt drew me daggers recently..so I just started singing purple hair...purple hair.
Ha. Instead of the sometimes anchor tattoo.. they ought to just get a victim tattoo on their forehead. that just says 'victim' That's what its partly about after all. I were in Key West back in 07 and it was quiff hair convention weekend. Damn thousands of them...purple hair not being a thing then thankfully.. but I had to put myself on a war footing. There was this lgb bar with drag queens performing(808 bourbon street)..which I refused to go in point blank...couldnt have got in anyway for all the quiffs and clumpy shoes. Hey..I've nothing against it all..but they keep being far to aggressive in my opinion. Besides..I'm more of a honky-tonk bar kinda person anyway. I avoid all that other stuff like the plague...never know where to put my face...rather up a ducks bottom than those.

Not to mention all the PC "women good strong and intelligent-men weak stupid arseholes" schtick.
One scene where an elderly female Admiral basically tells him to Feck off was particularly grating seeing as his character is supposedly a legendary revered flagship captain and Ambassador. The rest of the "wimmin" treat like he's some demented old sap to be barely tolerated and as for 7 of 9 turning from a being in search of her humanity into some kind of kick ass hard-case the less said the better.
Riker is now a stay at home husband who's become fond of baking pizza, you couldn't make it up!
A pile of PC woke crap that should have died at birth and I suspect that Pat Stewart did it just for the money.

Basically it was a huge let down. They just can't do ST anymore. Although the new series will have Q in it, so that might perk it up a bit.
Well, neither the Enterprise computers nor the Opus Discovery were very successful so this just mirrors the past. Looking forward to Star Trek:Spectrum.
The possible spin-off Star Trek:Rubberkeys with its mongy lard might do well in some circles, too.

All the tribbles did was breed until their numbers were out of control. I seem to remember a DS9 (or Voyager) episode that cleverly edited in an original star trek episode as i think they went back in time (or something). Seen it years ago.
