oh gawd, flicking through that reminds me of why I didn't watch it as a kid. Did you notice how most of the old boys sound p*ssed?
tbf the actor that played Stan Ogden had already had had a stroke which affected his speech so they added Eddie Yeates to the household so he'd have less speaking time, think he died about 3 years later, same with Albert tatlock, he died only a short while later

Ah, fair enough, I guess I was stereo typing the old fellas in from the 70s as everyone drank heavily back then. I do remember when they both died, as they were in the news. But I never knew that was why they introduced Eddie. He was originally Stan's right hand man on the dustcarts wasn't he? Funny, I never really watched it, but being so into TV I've picked up a lot of trivia over the years from quizzes and reading.
Nah Eddie Yeats (Geoffrey Hughes) was in Keeping Up Appearances. He also voiced Paul McCartney in Yellow Submarine. He died in 2012
A heavy smoker, Youens suffered a heart attack in 1972, and then on 30 October 1973 suffered a stroke which left him with a speech difficulty, though speech therapy eradicated some of this. The writers brought in Eddie Yeats (Geoffrey Hughes) as a lodger for Stan and Hilda. This reduced Youens's dialogue and allowed him to continue as a regular character until early 1984.
I happened to sit thru two episode of FAME! Kids from fame or whatever. I really enjoyed it. LEroy was having issues and the old piano guy sorted him out. This is very odd, cause I completely hated Fame decades ago, now I find myself enjoying it. I fear for my sanity. I'm a daft gowk playing with eh fairies in my older years..must be. I mean Fame!
It was ok but a bit tame even by 1971 standards but nice to se Cushing and Lee together.
Now watching the Ray Winstone film Sexy Beast, Ben Kingsley is seriously scary in it.
4 hours..ooo, You are keen. I watched a wee bit. Arcade Centipede.. hated it, played it once. But oh..Moon Cresta...magic. I have seen vids on this kind of stuff..but normally much shorter and with a proper voice that isnt like a drone. Hehe..aint criticising or nuthin.
Watching YouTube videos from 1890's/1900's of people going about their daily business. These people didn't realise they were filming history. It's a window into the past. I was watching films from Glasgow from 1900 and i didn't recognise the streets that i have walked so many times.

These guys have got around the fact that most geeks have bad voices for you tube. Seems like they are using an iPad voice synth, as I feel like it is being narrated by Lost Voice Guy. :)

I watched a David Lynch film i recorded a few months ago starring Nicholas Cage called Wild at heart. I usually like David Lynch films but this one was incomprehensible garbage. I turned it off after about an hour. It was boring the arse off me.
Catching up with some episodes if Enterprise that were on last week. It's in season 2 and is quite good. It's tons better than that Discovery rubbish! :D

Here, here. I was one of the fans that couldn't give a toss that paramount kept series 3 to themselves. :))
