Turned it off at 0-2 and can't believe it ended 0-4. One of the most disgraceful performances I've ever seen by us and that's saying something the last four matches. They were all obviously on their holidays in their heads. Good job the Nation's League is a bunch of meaningless friendlies in the long run, but that was an embarrassment. We treated Hungary like they were the 1954 side, not 2022.
Ouch! I have seen other teams referring to England as Ego-Land before, from that pitiful performance, and obvious underestimating of a "lesser" team we may have just sh*t in our own nest as it were!
Canadian sketch show from early to mid 90s. Kinda legendary in Canada. As much as I hated Canada(Couldn't wait to ship out), this was something good out of there. I remembered seeing 2 or 3 episodes back in the mid 90s. So, watching a few episodes now. Time warp.
They’re bringing that show back, I saw an advert for it a week or so back. They’re all kind of old and grey now. The advert had Mr. Crushing your head on it, threatening to crush a building. I liked the show originally….I’m feeling I won’t like the comeback…
Yeah. I just checked that now. Just put out another series. Yeah, huge gap, nah. Plus I wouldn't like to see them now in their usual dressing up. Somehow they did that back in the day without coming across gay. Mr Crushing head heh. Last night it was a wimpy guy in a balaclava calling himself the eradicator. They were ahead of the game with the Karen thing. They had it as 30 Helens. It was a bit hit or miss..oh surreal.
ERADICATOR!!!!!!! I was so f*cking high when I watched the episode with eradicator, and the Squash game.....I was laughing so hard I may have p*ssed myself....and I'm sure thinking back it wasn't that funny.
Weird I was talking to a guy at work about that film the other day. He's big into 80's horror movies, and I asked him have you seen The Stuff? He said no....I was like you need to be watching that it's very, very 80's :))
My brother has both The Stuff and CHUD on DVD but i've not asked to see either! :))
At school we used to laugh at the film CHUD as it sounded like 'chug' :))
Funnily enough both The Stuff, and C.H.U.D. although very different films from one another both share a similar theme. Underneath the story, and horror themes there's an underlying tone of the greed, and foul practices of big corporations. Although it's not so subtle in The Stuff :))
Still one of my fave crappy 80's flicks is Terrorvision! It's one of those so bad it's good, and all over the place films. Although after all these years I have to wonder to myself is it horror? Sci-Fi? Comedy? Or a combination of those 3 things?
Don't remember watching it in the 90s original airing but I have a vague memory of Grimm with his hoighty toighty rants so I must have glimpsed it at some point. It's pretty good as I've been LOL'ing quite a bit according to the missus. You can't go wrong with Rowan Atkinson though, can you?

One of my faves. I've treated myself to a free Britbox deal, after months of ranting about how ITV and BBC are charging for old repeats and not showing any decent stuff on the main channels. So have been running through some of the old nostalgic stuff. Like very very early Doctor Who, Time Slip, Quatermass (Final Solution, my favourite. "Sooon!"), and for my interest in social history I watched the first episode of Grange Hill and Corrie. The sixties stuff fascinate me as I wasn't around to see it originally and there is something unique about those old, live studio productions. More like theatre plays than what we regard as TV.

I think...I watched Horror Express. That's genuinly super. Is that the same maybe as Terror Train ..could be.
Nah! it was only rated a 15, so I doubt it's a video nasty.
