Finally got around to starting to binge Scrubs after never seeing an episode. Not what I was expecting at all - quite a gentle, heartfelt comedy. I think I was expecting something like Brooklyn Nine Nine set in a hospital.
Not currently watching, but was thinking of a movie, maybe you guys can help me out.
I was chatting to someone from the land of the rising sun and the topic came to cultural differences, like how you count things with your fingers. And I told him about this scene from a movie I've seen, where an English spy in Nazi Germany orders a couple of beers in a bar and the hand/finger gesture is a dead giveaway that he's not German. Anyone know what that movie was called?
Wasn't Inlglorious Basterds was it? There's a scene like that in that movie, although I think that scene maybe somebody calls him out on his accent? It's been a while since I've seen it.

Sounds like Inglorious Basterds to me. The bit with Michael Fassbinder IIRC.
Watching a film called Bloodline that stars Sean William Scott. He plays a school councillor that by night kills nasty, evil people. It's a bit like Dexter.
It's been quite strange the Marvel and Star Wars stuff under Disney.
Marvel TV - poor (Loki, Moon Knight) to just-about-average (Wandavision, Falcon & Winter Solider). The stuff Netflix did (Daredevil, Jessica Jones etc) is miles better.
Movies - good to very good.
Star Wars TV - good (Book of Boba) to very good (Kenobi, Clone Wars, Bad Batch) to outstanding (Mandalorian).
Movies - Sequel Trilogy, other than the first half of TFA which was great, have been utter crap. Spin-offs have been average.
I'm in the middle of watching Light And Magic on Disney which is about how ILM started, all the people that have been involved over the years. It's very interesting.

I think its done by lack of money and attention to detail, and pumping them out thick and fast, you can tell every area suffers generally with streaming made films and tv shows compared to "proper" companies wares for cinema etc that had millions upon millions spent on them, and years of anticipation waiting for them.
I mean just look at the Hulk SFX in the she hulk, to me he just looks like a slightly large, greener bloke

Yeah, this excuse of a Hulk could be doing a "Rate my takeaway" video, just lose a bit of hair and give him some NHS specs. The green colour would come from food poisoning ... :P

Ted Rodgers, Janice Long, Duggie Brown R.I.P
I sometimes watch Strike it Lucky and Bullseye on that. Strike it Lucky is brilliant!
Two female snake spirits have been training to reincarnate for centuries. Now it seems possible, but..
Outstanding beautiful imagery, kung fu(a little), giant snakes, meddlesome taoist priests and love story kinda. Love, sad love. . A classic.
Wow, that show ran for a long time - and I was reading that it never dropped below 12 million viewers.
talking about the history of Outlaw Country etc
Haven't clicked the vid, but you said decent, and metallica in the same sentence, so I'm skeptical....
That festival is just 3 kilometers away from my place, takes place at the edge of a huge park at the Rhine river.
