    I believe the 128K LOAD/SAVE commands just call the 48K ROM routines. Of course BASIC doesn't have access to the extra memory so unless you have some client code to deal with the paging issue, I'm not sure how it would work.

    I just means that it is compatible with both versions.

    There are some games that will detect whether you have a 128k & load a better version - usually better sound. Some multi-load games will also load in one go on the 128k.

    A lot of the later OCEAN games took ages to load....

    Total Recall, Robocop 2, Navy Seals, etc. all took around 10 minutes to load and all were a single 128k load..

    Perfect time for making a cuppa and some toast though...
