Making it 128K only means you can also cut out a copy stage and use screen buffering. Though that can of course limit the number of tiles you have access to at any one time... -

What model of Spectrum are you using? I think that the sound effects might have been produced by the AY chip only in this game. In which case they will be 128k only. -
