It was also one of the only games my dad ever played on my Spectrum (in fact I can't recall him ever playing anything else on it) - I'd sometimes help with the pit stops because he was no good at controlling the mechanics. :p -

I agree with R-Type and Sentinel.
Although 128k only, I think Carrier Command is very impressive too. Solid 3D graphics, a huge world and excellent playability.
