    I believe the 128K LOAD/SAVE commands just call the 48K ROM routines. Of course BASIC doesn't have access to the extra memory so unless you have some client code to deal with the paging issue, I'm not sure how it would work.

    It's also worth noting that the paging test will "fail" if a 128k has been put into 48k mode by using the menu or the SPECTRUM command. The test will "pass" (yay, we have 128k) if the 128k machine has been put into "USR0" mode.
