    Well lets remember here the and Amiga 500 came out in 1987 (and the Atari ST earlier) not 1993...so its run to around 1997-2000 was a pretty good run and about the same length as the speccy/c64.

    think i got my atari st around 1987 / 88 and it was still my computer i used (i also got given an amiga) after i moved up here in about 1993.......was still using em when i got my first pc in 1999 (online in 2000)

    I think the most expensive game I owned was [I]Driller[/I] which retailed for ?14.99 back in 1987. It came in a lovely big box with all sorts of goodies inside, though, and was both groundbreaking and awesome (if a little slow).
