How good are you with basic electronics troubleshooting and repairs? It’s probably easier to mod your +2A to accept audio from the 1/4-inch jack on the back, rather than attempt to fix the Datacorder’s audio amplifier board. -

The musak during load is easier on systems where there's no tape loading noise or where it can be perhaps switched off (or lower level) :) -
