One other thing to mention is that it forces USR0 mode, because you don't want to be playing around with bank switching with 128 BASIC or +3 BASIC running. The downside is that you can't use it with +3DOS, because that requires BANK7. -

With divIDE you can't access +3 Basic so you can't copy divIDE -> 3" disk
No divIDE firmware has the option to emulate a drive from a DSK file. -
