The 128 doesn't have a 12V output on RGB. If you go for the composite solution on the above site it should work fine without it. -

The link is unmade by default because including the colour burst signal causes ghosting on many monochrome monitors. Therefore, only make this link if you are plugging into a colour composite monitor.

Tom-Cat: Renegade checked the roms to identify the +3 machines so even with the fix the music disabled. Cristian Secara has the fixed +3 version on his site (probs the one you have).
