divIDE+ gives you ResiDOS which is well worth having. However, if you're only using it for games divIDE on its own will probably be enough. You can also use divIDE in the +2A with the +3e ROMs (get the divIDE version) which are almost as good as ResiDOS. -

The way I see it, +3e roms are fairly mature. I got 1.37, but 1.38 only fixes a coupla bugs and i see no reason to change yet. I got mine on Eproms. good 4 me! -
