Firefly is definitely one of the greatest sci-fi shows ever made. I wish that one day the rights to the series will revert to Joss Whedon and he'll get to continue the story. That would be awesome!

I always imagined that once the year 2000 arrived, every city would transform overnight to being full of buildings like these with the spaces in between full with flying cars, like in a sci-fi film. I was bitterly disappointed when it didn't happen. :(
