    One thing you might want to do, then, is get hold of some breadboard - and a collection of 74-series logic, and a 7805 regulator (so you can get 5 volts), a bag of 50 or so 5 volt LEDs and experiment for a bit. You'll find it very instructive.

    Thanks again, not too sure on the emulators thing, I'm not very computer savvy and have a Macintosh, aren't most of these things for PC windows?
    The RF has improved with use on the old heatsink 128, much better, guess it just needed using.

    The Issue 2 also has the heatsink there. I think the issue 2 heatsink is also smaller than in later revisions.

    I find my old heatsink 128 loads pretty much everything OK but my +2A is very incompatible with a lot of games.
