    Palette cycling is possible -- you can get all 256 colours on screen at once. However doing a flip-screen display would depend on knowing the precise timings, and we won't know those until the hardware is completed.

    I can't see it either for the lag reason. I want my character etc. to act/move the instant (the same frame) I do the motion on the controller, not x milliseconds later. How the hell are you gonna play fast games where timings are super critical?
