    Actually there are 96 font characters (from 32 to 127).

    Thus 2 different fonts will give you 96*2=192 characters, using 768*2=1536 bytes.

    True, and using this method, the spaces between characters are not part of the data, they're automatically added in before printing the first vertical line of the character, which on a standard 96 character set, saved 96!
