The Acorn Electron had adverts in 1983. I think the Elite game also did about a year later. That Zelda advert was not long ago. Sega must have had quite a lot. Playstation 1 and 2 has had a lot.

Why does Playtzx make the waves square instead of sine waves? It would probably work better if the waves were sine waves. Freeuef which does the same thing for Acorn files makes the waves a sine wave. -

You won't have motor control without a 7 pin DIN cable. Acorn's players for the BBC and Electron are quite common on ebay. The Electron one is smaller and has no speaker and is styled like the Electron. -
