The MF128 uses a special hi capacity format routine. In my experience, yes, data is easily lost or corrupted - but then that is true of the microdrive all round in my opinion. Much better with a Datel +D system

Well if you ask me bloody microdrive carts must have been based on those tapes at the start of every episdoe of Mission Impossible. You can retrieve your data once after that it self destructs and you have to format the sodding thing again.

One microdrive will do for me so I can back-up the games.
