You know I know its not possible, but it would be nice if there was a way that inside the TZX file there was a way of telling the emulator what settings to use. ie 48k only, issue 2 emulation, etc. -

You are missing something, you'd have to insert that block into your .tzx file using an editor such as Taper.

Hmmm... I emulated a 48K machine when I (succesfully) played it. Did you load the TZX file of the original version? It's the only one I tried so far.
