Interface 1 reserves some additional memory for system variables, puting the BASIC base adress higher. This my be the reason. I remember that games with loader stored in REM line may not work too. -

Thanks for all the responses. I think my original post wasnt the best! The interface 1 and cable are 100% - they work fine with 2 other microdrives
There is no noise / spinning from the motor after a cat command :( -
