Yes thats right. Basicaly it?s the same setup as the last Cap mod, only in the version shown at the web page I?ve move the ripple fillter to the power supply rather than mounting it inside the Spectrum. -

You could try getting your self a Power supply from somewhere like Maplins. All the relevent info you'll need should be on the back of one of the speakers i.e. voltage and current(amps)

My 128K's power supply is more meaty than a regular power supply, it should be able to handle the job.
