I haven't made a video about the +2 S-video yet but I did describe it in a post here somewhere. I did the mod about two years ago along with another mod for four audio outputs in time for the Spectrum 30 events.

Well obviously if you connect audio directly to the gate array input then bad things are likely to occur. All the guides I've seen however feed the audio via the tape input circuitry.
