doesn't really matter to me because I mostly use an emulator for convieniance, however I do like to run stuff on a real machine from time to time which I do use tap files on my DivIDE (does it do TRD yet?) -

No problem with .trd for me but maybe that' ... 'm from Eastern Europe ;) Actually .trd disk images are quite often ... work with neither .tzx or .trd.

I've gone for TAP, as a lot of the time I use real hardware. I've nothing against the other formats though, and when something special comes along like Survivisection I'll happily use TRD (though a TAP would be lovely). -

Me "plays" (In fact it is just loading, starting and then reseting the emulator) TRD once to see how good the game looks like, but I play really only on real machine (+D or TAP). -

There is much easier for me to translate Russian games to English from TAP format then from TRD format ;-).
So there is nothing for translation, because all Russian games are in TRD. :-P -
