    You could use the rom-routine RST 16 (decimal).
    The A register holds the code of the character that is to be printed.

    Another solution is to entirely bypass the BASIC print routine and instead write your own that draws the appropriate character directly to the screen memory.

    It's a bit harder to do but you will learn a lot more that way.
