I see the +2 socket has a brightness signal and no voltage signal. Maybe you should make a composite video cable. There is instructions in the comp.sys.sinclair faq pinouts page.

X200 makes a audio carrier frequency for the PAL UHF signal. Its 5.5MHz in some countries. That would not affect sound on the jack socket. Is there any visibly damaged components?
