I used HiSoft Devpac on the Spectrum, and ZMac on RISC OS which can be compiled on many different platforms ([url]http://mdfs.net/Software/Z80/ZMac/[/url]), and BBC BASIC (Z80)'s inbuilt Z80 assembler.
