I like Bomb Jack 2 actually. Okay it's a crap sequel as it has absolutely nothing to do with Bomb Jack but it's a great game in its own right. :)

Bomb Jack, I [I]still[/I] can't get over how good a conversion this is. Slower than the arcade but retaining all of the feel. I also keep dipping into "Ghosts 'n' Goblins", but it makes me swear. A lot. -

Space Harrier looks nice but is ultimately shallow and dull. So that's a good conversion.
