Perhaps you mean 5678-0, that is, cursor keys? Because 6789-0 could have been an arrangement not unlike ultimate's QWER-T, which most people hated... Could be read in a single IN instruction, I think, though. I don't remember of games using 6789-0. -

I`ve been playing Nightshade (Ultimate) just to create and find out how many active fires I can have on screen at the same time - I`m currently at 5. It`s a noisy game.

I agree with the Knightlore being over-rated. OK, nice graphics but gameplay wasn't all that good.
In fact, I'd go as far to say that most Ultimate titles after Alien 8 were all show and no gameplay substance.
