Nice implemetation of the classic! Very fluent, although a bit slow.
I have thought about slowing down the blue ghosts too. When they move at the same speed as Pacman you can chase them but you'll never get them. -

Boriel's Sinclair Basic compiler has support for full screen drawings.
As it is written with python and z80 asm, you may take a look at his drawing routines. They are easy enough to understand.
