I tend to play Bruce Lee, Ghosts & Goblins, Bombjack and Splitting Images. All are supremely playable.
(That is I play 'em when I can get Yoshi's Island off my Flash Card, what an awesome game) -

Both these have been mentioned but I'd have to say - Bruce Lee (too many lives not enough ways to die!) and Renegade.
