Bubble Bobble is much better than Rainbow Islands, but RI is fun in it's own right. Between the 2 for standing the test of time I'd say BB craps on RI from a great height. After all these years I know which one I'd rather still play :) -

Strange you all prefer Bubble Bobble cos I prefer Rainbow Islands. I could never get into Bubble Bobble and found it tedious. Perhaps I should devote a bit more time to it and see if it grows on me. -

I like Rainbow Islands more. But Bubble Bobble is also awesome. And the third game in the series, Parasol Stars, is also quite nifty. No speccy version, AFAIK, sadly. -
