It's supposed to be a 10nF axial ceramic. It looks like a resistor and has coloured bands on it. It's even the same shape as a resistor -()==()-. -

If the speaker is definately ok, it surely must be the ULA. I'd be surprised if C35 is proven to be leaky if it's a ceramic disc, I don't think I've ever come across a leaky one. They are easily damaged though. -
