SID tunes are spectacular.

SmashTV soundtrack on the C64 is one of my favourites, without talk about four games of TheLastNinja (1,2,3 and remix) and many many more.

Laser Squad and Rebelstar were also the best games I played on my Amstrad CPC464. I had loads of excellent 2-player games of both of them. Grenades hidden in plant pots! Great stuff.

Well the two examples I listed there, were sampled from original boxed games. Of course even if we do make a working TZX, they won't be available as they are still being sold ;-o.

I totally agree. Chuckie Egg is one of the top 5 Speccy games of all time. Just so playable and the sound effects still make me smile to this day.

Truely is a game you just quickly pick up and have a good go at .

As someone else said, I'd like to see some reworkings of old classics - like different sectors for Dan Dare, one of the very best games of it's type on the Spectrum. This would be more feasible than an entirely new game which would take ages to do.
