    Collision detection is shocking.

    Colour clash makes it hard to spot your target.

    Scrolling is jerky (one character block at a time).

    I think I would have cried if I'd bought this full price at the time.

    I agree - Turrican is one of those games that really should be played on the C64. Like with Uridium, the Spectrum version was a valiant attempt, but the lack of hardware scrolling doesn't do it any favours.
