Here is the level select cheat, do as above, then hold down 6 & press combinations of keys of 1 to 5, like 6 & 1 or 6, 1, & 3 etc, you'll get the idea once

The solar beam has a set pattern. It only has about 5 positions. Truth be told, the only way to pass the level is learn the patterns and you will do the level simply. Unless you want to cheat and type in 6031769 for the teleport codes. -

In Real Spectrum there is a proper function called Cheat Options which is activated by pressing F9.
