Kosmic Kanga is the only game I can think of that starred a Kangaroo, but this was more like Scramble than Manic Miner.

I think Joffa is right with Jasper as this was a platform game like Manic Miner, only Jasper was a rat not a kangaroo.

  • Stupid bugs in gamesDid any one discover bugs in any game. I found out in Football Manager 1 you can sell all your players and still play matches (and even win them)

Killing the end boss in Cobra with the invincibility power-up was always fun.

That was until you realised the game couldn't end after you'd spent 1/2 hour looping thru the level!!

  • what was the best selling?...............hi everybody, what was the best selling game for the spectrum 16k,48k etc and which software firm made it? :)

Wasn't "They Sold A Million" games a cumulative figure of the sales on the Speccy, C64, etc.

Wow, Joffa Smith posts here!!! Hypersports on the Speccy is still probably my most played Speccy game (17 years on too).

It's okay to say that about Uridium, because the article is from a C64 perspective, and that's fair enough. It would be the same thing if a Spectrum owner did it, except it would be full of C64 disasters like Paperboy and Cobra etc etc.
