I always change TR4 and TR5 at the same time, as if one is bad it can take out the other.

What Balford said. :) It's probably (almost certainly) a short circuit somewhere from a damaged track. It could be the coil, but it's unlikely. Check the resistance between the -5V and ground and +12V and ground.
