Well what can I say. I've done this mod on more that fifteen 48Ks and i undoubtly see a difference compared to a basic composite mod.
Tested on a Sony trinitron CRT 21'' and a philips 15'' CRT. -

Theoretically it wouldnt help because the black notch still wont be in the output signal causing a dark screen..

You can't do the composite mod exactly like on 48k models (128k models need another mod), it will not work. Fortunately ZX+2 has already a composite video out (well, maybe except the french +2 PERITEL version). -

-->[b]Mousey[/b]: If your LCD works with ZX48 via composite mod, it will probably work with 128k models too. It seems you have one of those better LCD TVs :). Well, better from our (speccy fans) point of view - it accepts the "old style" syncs. -
