    Some of my games are classified as 16K but will only run on a 48K machine.

    The size would say it runs on 16K, but the addresses used are in

    I think it has a problem with upper non-contented memory (last 32KB).
    If you can type on it, try to do a CLEAR 32767 as soon as the machine boots. Then see if it is more stable. Load a 16K game and play a little.
